Precious Time ...

... and it goes running so fast.

Still, people keep on running for their ghosts of the past and fulfill their parents or ancestors' duties and lives. Remember, we are all products of our history. Until we release. They forget that each of us receives this one unique life for each our very own purpose. Our ancestors had had their lives. It was up to them what they make out of it. We have our life. Each of us.

It is up to us what we make out of this one given life.

It is up to us, every single brandnew day.

Still, people keep on playing and acting out the dramas of their childhoods. No matter what age, it's up to us to leave those fears of our childhood behind. Including the fears of our nearests at that time which we have taken over like sponges that children are, or which were laid on us.

It's up to us to lay down false selves and therewith the false idols which we were set on. False idols like families that look perfect to the outside but which have absolutely no life inside or, in the extended version, are even severely sick as systems. And with that lack of truth and love breeding another love lacking generation (yes, Mams and men of the 50s in the Western hemisphere, its very likely you are meant. To understand, also you must deal with what influences you grew up at your time ... until you can release your history and release your children from those spells). False idols like 'being someone' when we own money, wealthes, play a role or own a 'position' or when belonging to those who show off with what they can consume but no create or pass on anything of worth at all. False idols like 'being liked' (my greets to facebook & co) by many which at a point will show that it has no meaning, and 'liking' does not mean being loved or appreciated at all but serves a totally different purpose. Also false idols like believing that if we only sacrifice our selves long enough then we will have served well.

There is a degree of every thing that works well when it is done and lived with the full conviction of the heart. And everything when it is to unhealthy degrees either overflowing or drying out, or when a measure is taken at the wrong place at the wrong moment or towards the wrong counterparts, can lead to critical unbalances which can destroy everything around and then has impact on many other systems and individuals.

We see that every day, in our times and with our levels of information more even than any generation before.

The question is: Whom will we have served well if we deny the given life with its chances to grow and its chances to really fully live, in the awareness of every One and every Thing around? Whom will we have served when we consider ourselves slaves to fulfill other people's demands and wishes, and never have found our own selves as we are standing in this world? Whom will we have served if we have submitted to pressures and taboos of systems installed by others and without having been asked, and never have followed what our innerst tells us and never have looked behind the curtains of the gigantic play?

It is a long way to find our innerst. But if we do not even start the journey one day, and if we continue postponing it over and over, there is no way at all.

The momentary time is so unbelievably perfect to understand all that.

In the awareness that every one of us can be blown up every single moment, we have the great opportunity to realize what life is really about.

For us.  For everyone, according to their possibilities. No one is asked more than he or she can. Don't underestimate your potentials.

And it is up to us to become the men and women we were meant to be: Not stuck in 'bonds', 'contracts', 'constraints'  and 'chains', acting as 'instruments' for other people but never knowing who we are, but free to decide what we go for,

every single day.

My love for also this new day,
wishing to everyone
to find and make their way,

Lyn

Some More on Hel

While reflecting a little more, out of the sudden I find a very interesting parallele (or pattern, or metaphor) on the tale (= what was told) on Frau Holle.

At the beginning there was, of course, a question. It bothered me the 'Why'. Why is it the 'older sister' which was preferred by the (material) mother? And 'why' was it the younger that was despised, did all the work and nevertheless was kept as a 'Cinderella'? Why was it not the older - in development, assumable - which was more busy and productive? Why was it the older which was indicated as more 'lazy'?

And look, it is the consciousness which is a 'younger' development stage in  humans. The brain as it is developed during time and therefore in all of us, started with very primitive patterns and with each development stage, 'younger' in age, this new achievements are integrated like 'add-ons'.

The basic programming though still exists - in all of us. This is what makes the latest achievements in neuroscience so interesting. And the basic programs are powerful. They were and are the drivers that we are still existing on earth. The basic programming, as existing in reptiles, is simple. Eat or become eaten. Also there are a lot of different strategies deriving from this basic principle.

And this explains why it was the 'younger' who could realize the needs of the 'bread' and the 'apples', same as the biblical books tell us about the sudden ability to 'realize' after eating from the 'fruit of the tree'. Of course, both are 'tales' and it is mostly difficult to find out what was the original core story and what was added by 'tellers'. Sometimes to make the story more pictoresque and vivid but sometimes, and that is how any communication functions, by adding their own personal view.

So when I ask 'why was it the older sister which was preferred', then I need to ask in a next step: WHO is this (earthly) mother? I will find out, I guess. At least 'she' must have been quite materially (an 'I' pod, probably).

Materials or matter do not matter at All.

That's what the 'wisdom' of tales is telling us. Sometimes it is that we simply need to start the questions. The answers then will come. We only must be able to realize when they arrive.

Another of today: A lady who gave lots to others, was recalled last night.

Thanks, Whitney, for what you gave to others with your life, your music and your songs. More than once your songs literally saved my life (Because the greatest love of all ... ). There is no way I could express in words how grateful I personally am - as with me are many many others.

I Look To You Lyrics

As I lay me down
Heaven hear me now
I’m lost without a cause
After giving it my all

Winter storms have come
And darkened my sun
After all that I’ve been through
Who on earth can I turn to?

I look to you,
I look to you
After all my strength is gone
In you I can be strong
I look to you,
I look to you
And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song
I look to you

'bout to lose my breath
There's no more fighting left
Sinking to rise no more
Searching for that open door

And every road that I've taken
Led to my regret
And I don't know if I'm go'n make it
Nothing to do but lift my head

My levees are broken
My walls are coming down on me
My rain is falling
Defeat is calling
I need you to set me free
Take me far away from the battle
I need you
Shine on me!

Only love itself is able to give more than it ever receives ... on this planet.

Thanks, again.

A Simple but Obviously Necessary Statement

Before (or in case) some monolinear mentalities might interpret my variety of issues in errouneous ways:

All my thoughts simply reflect various views on and at various points in life.

If I write for or against anything, it usually mainly deals with the meta-view on matters regarding human affairs. Therefore, and such it was all times, I clearly like the meta-phors, as they create the link between the brain hemispheres.
(My recent psychologist whom I needed to solve a psychosomatic symptom ran mad with that my meta-view. Sorry for him. As formerly a shifted sinistral, I consider it a quality to be able to use both my brain halves, not a lack. But people for whom their soup bowl is the only existing world, certainly have a problem with broader approach.)

If I write against some catholic habits, I could at the same time write about the traumata for children with circumcision under circumstances which are quite habituous in other mentalities in the world.

What actually interests me only and most is the sanity of humans in general. This can not take place as long as many people are in-sane and either themselves or others have to severely suffer from this. And that is the main driver for me to point out where possible sources of in-sanity may be found and what and how many little steps are necessary to work ourselves out. As the old Latin guys knew: Mens sana in corpore sano. And my view, though already quite expanded, is only a little view. I respect the whole and holy, considering myself as just a drop in an ocean or just a little spark of a huge fire.

Clearly, I am considering myself as a world child, without so many preferences but with certain accumulated insights from very different sources, and in-tuition, too.
The essences, principles and cores of human insight exist by default every where. Just to dig down to the essence is the real art as so many interests try to drive us away from getting to the core, and especially from our very very own core - our self - by creating and filling us up with so many illusions (see Latin 'ludus' - play, so things that play on us).

A funny incidence that happened to me yesterday: At my acupuncture, usually a little egg timer indicates the end of the acupuncture session. At a point, the physician's assistant came in to ask if my 'egg timer' had already rung so that she would take out the needles. As I had been so deeply in my 'work' there, I really couldn't say. But the lady lying next to me, elderly obviously (just guessed by the voice), felt an urge to state that yes, the egg timer of mine had already rung. The assistant nevertheless realized that it had been her own one for another purpose that she had heard. And so it was. Some time later, my egg timer really rang.

What reminds me to learn from this, again, little daily metaphor?

Well, obviously already a shere question by someone regarded as an authority can create in people the illusion that they really had experienced that. This shows just how vague indeed perceptions so very often are. People's brains play tricks on them if not really they educate (e-ducate?) their brains well. So better we doubt until we know rather than think that we know what was or is not there.

And again, I am talking about the 'self which consists of the 'Ich' or 'Isch' and the godly self, 'Isch-Ah'. Not the 'I' that is caught in 'I-Pods' or such, and also not the 'self' which is included in 'self-ish'.

I would herewith like to share the recent input by a friend which appealed very much to me:

Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly NOW. Love mercy NOW. Walk humbly NOW.

You are not obligated to complete the work but neither are you free to abandon it
.”

We all have a meaning or purpose in this life.

Frau Holle or: Ms Hel

Recently, someone became very very angry when in a dispute I let him know that I surely wish certain people simply 'to hell'. That one was a catholic. What else. Fearful and mislead, catholics believe they can avoid facing life and truth by simply obeying certain dogmata, carefully not touching preset taboos, and such, they will be good and all will be good. For the rest, they close their eyes. Truly a monodimensional religion.

Unfortunately, that never works and the whole catholic world is the best proof for that. A religion which itself declares that one of the most important rules is 'you shall make no pictures' (while, as I understood, the original Jewish refers this to statues, so threedimensional pictures) is funny though full of pictures that are implanted in the people's heads. Implanted unfortunately in a time those people have no chance to reject the implantation, namely as they are children at that moment. On the act of baptizing children itself, I would have lots to say but will do that another time. As it is crazy that people for instance are baptized catholic, marry catholic, baptize their children catholic and then declare that they do not live it. Denying, they distanciate but remain with the same pictures, and cannot sort their peas ... and pictures. I am not against pictures. Just against pre-set which take away freedom. We all have and make ourselves pictures. Pictures as we see the world, pictures to sort and understand the world. And metaphors. To understand the deeper. Or higher, as you like.

If pictures are pre-implanted, how then should these people explore the world that is made for them, freely? How shall they find their way of living and find meaning in life, and maybe life itself? How can they enter a stage of self-responsibility which already the book of Genesis describes that it is meant for Humans? How can they care well for all (al) that is created?

What catholics called heathens or pagans are by no means worse than the catholics themselves. The latter just apply a scapegoat (*, 1) effect. And so is it with 'hell'.

Maybe you have noticed in some of my earlier postings that I constantly am writing 'hel', not 'hell'. Well.

There is a good reason.
The reason is Madame Hel.

Anyone of us knows the tale, nevertheless it is worth looking at it from new points of view, always.
Frau Holle, First edition, 1812
A widow had two daughters; the one was beautiful and industrious, the other ugly and lazy. She greatly favored the ugly, lazy girl. The other one had to do all the work, and was truly a Cinderella in the house. Once the girl went to fetch water, and when she leaned over to pull the bucket from the well, she leaned over too far and fell in. And when she awoke and came to herself again, she was in a beautiful meadow. The sun was shining, and there were many thousands of flowers.

She walked across this meadow and came to an oven full of bread. The bread called out, "Oh, take me out. Take me out, or I'll burn! I've been thoroughly baked for a long time!" So she stepped up to it and took everything out.

After that she walked further and came to a tree laden with apples. "Shake me! Shake me! We apples are all ripe!" cried the tree. So she shook the tree until the apples fell as though it were raining apples. When none were left in the tree, she continued on her way.

Finally she came to a small house. An old woman was peering out from inside. She had very large teeth, which frightened the girl, and she wanted to run away. But the old woman called out to her, "Don't be afraid, dear child. Stay here with me, and if you do my housework in an orderly fashion, it will go well with you. Only you must take care to make my bed well and shake it diligently until the feathers fly, then it will snow in the world. I am Frau Holle."

Because the old woman spoke so kindly to her, the girl agreed, and started in her service.
The girl took care of everything to Frau Holle's satisfaction and always shook her featherbed vigorously. Therefore she had a good life with her: no angry words, and boiled or roast meat every day.

Now after she had been with Frau Holle for a time, her heart saddened. Even though she was many thousands of times better off here than at home, still she had a yearning to return. Finally she said to the old woman, "I have such a longing for home, and even though I am very well off here, I cannot stay longer."

Frau Holle said, "You are right, and because you have served me so faithfully, I will take you back myself." With that she took her by the hand and led her to a large gate. The gate was opened, and while the girl was standing under it, an immense rain of gold fell, and all the gold stuck to her, so that she was completely covered with it. "This is yours because you have been so industrious," said Frau Holle.

With that the gate was closed and the girl found herself above on earth.

She went home to her mother, and because she arrived all covered with gold, she was well received. When the mother heard how she had come to the great wealth, she wanted to achieve the same fortune for the other, the ugly and lazy daughter. She made her go and jump into the well. Like the other girl, she too awoke in a beautiful meadow, and she walked along the same path.

When she came to the oven, the bread cried again, "Oh, take me out! Take me out, or else I'll burn! I've been thoroughly baked for a long time!" But the lazy girl answered, "As if I would want to get all dirty," and walked away.

Soon she came to the apple tree. It cried out, "Oh, shake me! Shake me! We apples are all ripe!" But she answered, "Oh yes, one could fall on my head," and with that she walked on.

When she came to Frau Holle's house, she was not afraid, because she had already heard about her large teeth, and she immediately began to work for her. On the first day she forced herself, was industrious, and obeyed Frau Holle, when she said something to her, because she was thinking about all the gold that she would give her. But on the second day she already began to be lazy, on the third day even more so, and then she didn't even want to get up in the morning. She did not make the bed for Frau Holle, the way she was supposed to, and she did not shake it until the feathers flew.

Frau Holle soon became tired of this and dismissed her of her duties. This was just what the lazy girl wanted, for she thought that she would now get the rain of gold.

Frau Holle led her too to the gate. She stood beneath it, but instead of gold, a large kettle full of pitch spilled over her. "That is the reward for your services," said Frau Holle, and closed the gate. Then the lazy girl went home, entirely covered with pitch, and it would not come off as long as she lived.
Call it a test in the otherworld, an in parallel existing world, or see it as you like. The elements of the spinning wheel, the entrance through a water (well), noticing when something is just ready and give it a hand, collecting the fruit of tree so that they will not rot away, and also caring for the time or season of rest; the gate between the worlds and to make attitudes visible: here a shiny golden and a pitch black.

Old tales are, as many books of the bible, full of pictures. Metaphors. They are reminders of the other side, the side we usually don't see in our busy daily rush. In our 'right-handed' world.
'The most steadfast connections are with Frau Holle and Hulda on one hand, and the Old Norse Hlóðyn, a byname for the Earth, Thor’s mother, on the other. She is also frequently equated with Nerthus, who also rides in a wagon, and Odin's wife, Frigg, from her alternate names Frau Guaden [Wodan], Frau Goden, and Frau Frekke as well as her position as mistress of the Wild Hunt. The similarity of meaning and etymology between German "Holl(d)a" and Old English "Hella," as well as both being described as leading the dead, could point to a link between them.'
(From: Wikipedia.org - Frau Holle/Hulda)
And if we look further, as Frau Holle might be impersonifaction of Earth, she would be same as the Norse  Jörð. And it is quite likely that Earth presents us the bill at a point. The bill for what we do and don't.

Still, we are free to live and choose our very personal life as we want it to be. Just that we need to respect the outcome of our choices, for us and for the whole.

This is called responsibility - response, respond, deriving from Latin respondere (answer):
using the Latin prefix re-, derived from the Latin word spondere (promise, give pledge, undertaking), derived from the Proto-Indo-European root *spend- .

'Give in return. Get in return.'

Do we really believe that people who choose a 'lazy life', who don't care for their actions or not-actions towards others or the environment, maybe even live entirely on the cost of others, get it better at the very end?

What do people really make out of that presents and chances they are given? Would they simply think of the efforts connected with it, and let them pass by, or even walk away?

Time will certainly show ... and Ms Hel.

That a reptilish-dualistic religion has made it the opponent to 'God' and 'good' is strange enough, as clearly there is no dualism, and also is the serpent not Satan. Just man's brains have made up such and implanted such pictures in other people's brains, too. And as it looks, just a certain part of man's brains, while knocking out the other which might provide a more (w)holistic view. It doesn't look as that has been the 'right' hemisphere (and take care for the 'X' in form of the 'CC', in case you wish to understand this joke).

Go further for some wordplays? Check out 'Helios' and the Greek term 'Hel', 'Halo', or the Middle High German terms 'huld' and 'hold'. And 'holy', maybe, too.

The German(ic) word 'hell' means 'light', by the way.

Some people in history indeed have been very industrious on changing the meaning of words. So that no one may find what essences were meant to mean, as passed on through centuries. Humans have not changed much even throughout millenia. It's only that all around us looks different while it is not, at all.

In these terms, sending someone to hell can even mean:
Sending someone (in)to the light so that what he or she really is, becomes visible to everyone.

Still afraid of Hel? There is no good reason why.

Unless you have your reasons why.

Have a safe day,
Lyn

(*) Just would like to state that I am not always happy with Wikipedia explanations. Again, pick out what makes sense to complete your view, and doubt what remains strange to you.

(1) [...] ' Projection: Unwanted thoughts and feelings can be unconsciously projected onto another who becomes a scapegoat for one's own problems. This concept can be extended to projection by groups. In this case the chosen individual, or group, becomes the scapegoat for the group's problems.'

The Real Good About 2012

If you are into this or not, do you know what is the real good thing about 2012 and the finalizing story?

The real good is that we can ask ourselves questions like:
If I imagine the big shift by the end of this year -
what would I get fixed or sorted in my life and anyway always wanted - but never did?

Love vs. Vanities.
Reduce to the max.
And what would YOU take with you? Memories of a life you had wanted to live?
(Just braingames)

Thanks, that's all I wanted to say ... :)
Life is so precious, and such it is every day.

Lyn
