Finding of the Day - Uudam

Without any further comments.
A beautiful boy.
A wonderful song.

'Mother in dream' by Uudam.

Uudam ('Wudamu' in Chinese adaption) seems to have made the 3rd in 'China's Got Talent' 2011 with this.

As this video contains the whole 'blah blah' of the show (I guess the song starts somewhat around 2:00), you will find a 'just song' version below. Anyhow, it is also nice to see the 12 year old boy in this scenery.

From the description by yt member 'pcbd' [the originally referred video is removed from that channel but he placed another version http://youtu.be/rItvHcEOdBY?hd=1 - or take the vid below]:
Uudam (乌达木 Wudamu in Chinese), a 12-year-old boy who comes from The Hulun Buir Grassland in Mongolia. When he was 8, his mother was seriously injuried in a car accident. Regardless Uudam trying to look after his mother, to no avail she finally passed away. Just recently, his father was also passed away. Since then he hardly ever talks about his past but when he misses his mother, he will sing the song-"Eeji(mother) in my dream" (梦中的额吉) to his mother in heaven. At nights, he sometimes dream about his mother sitting beside him.

The song is in Mongolian, However, his singing ever touched the panel of judges and audiences in the hall without the understanding of the lyrics. He sang out all his love, passion and though, and the poignant of his love outpouring to his mother! I caught myself in tears while watching him sing...
It took me paintakingly to do the best I could to translate this song from Mongilian to Chinese, then English. I know I might have missed some of the true feeling and meaning of the lyrics, and in here I apologised!
English lyrics:
In the serenity among the vast lands
When the twilight lingers in the murky mirage
While Mother tenderly sings an enchanting melody
She sprinkled milk to the heaven
As offering for my well-being
My Mother, she is in the distant steppe
Stars twinkle above the grasslands
In my dream I see Mother's loving face
My mother who lives in the distant steppe
My mother who lives in the distant steppe

In Mongolian:
sumeih zeregleend gegee anirlaad
susuglehiin erhend eej mini bodogdana
huugee irene geed suugee orgood
huslee chiltel alsiig shirtee dee
alsad suuga eej mini
amin hairtai shuteen mini bilee

zadgai tengerd uul ni zamharna
zalbirhiin erhend eej mini bodogdana
argaliin tsogond tsaigaa buliyeelj
anis'haa chiltel alsiig shirtee dee
alsad suuga eej mini
amin hairtai shuteen mini bilee

huhereh uuls'aas hoglerj haragdana
huugiin tani setgil gegelzeed baina
hunii zeregleend huu chini yavnaa
husliig tani nimgeleed yavaad ochina daa
alsad suuga eej mini
amin hairtai shuteen mini bilee
Seems there are several translations around, as usual. Anyhow. Here a 'just song' youtube version:

With love, kids of the world, strong are you
... and beautiful, inside,

[there is more
between heaven and earth
and even underneath
than most people can see]
