Finding of the Day - Administration

And as the give-away of the day, please find this

'A prudent man does not make the goat his gardener.'

How comes?

It´s deriving from the insight that administrators have gained some inappropriate positions in society and business. While 'ad-ministrating' origins from 'towards - additionally - supporting (in the widest sense)' and the verb 'to minister' which means 'serving', so it is someone who supports the one who is 'serving' (the 'Minister'), these professional positions in society out of the sudden have lost their function and have become a self-purpose, as so many other functions by the way also do.

If a function becomes self-ish, as implicated, it out of the sudden starts merely serving itself.

As I use the term 'self' for the higher/godly/all-connected self, usually, I should here indeed better use the term 'it suddenly becomes an ego-purpose and serves merely the ego'. Language is tricky and that is why through it societies and groups are so manipulatable.

To assign administrators with building up efficient organisation is doing exactly what the proverb says a prudent man does not.We have examples all over what the outcome is.

While, I like goats. It´s certainly not their fault being actors in that proverb.

  1. Not funny,

since, I participated a lefthanders blog not long ago and the circumstances led to the situation that I trusted those, who are called administrators, for minimum a short time period. It must be mentioned that the lefthanders problem ist mostly not only an ergonomic but more a psychological problem and to make this more cleary I anonymous posted that left handedness can also lead to perverted sexual behavior.
And what does these nice stupid people (admins) do with that in my opinion important information?

Right, they put my original posting identity above that writing! The only explanation how they found out my identity can be the IP-address, which is normaly forebidden for registeration by those web sites.

Therefore it's hard for me to laugh about that goats until now.....

  2. Dear Anonymous,

Defects in humans you will find anywhere and there is much more, of course, that can cause severe psychological problems - in righthanded as well as in lefthanded administrators. Where there is the possibility of abusing powers, as you obviously refer to Internet platforms administrators, there also is a high probability that it can be abused. Anyhow, the only real power is the power over myself. Who have no power over themselves of course try to compensate by trying out their powers over others. We have ethics, morals and such stuff ... but there is also one rule anyone can follow always: Do what you like unless you harm another.

Keep on tracking. It's certainly a long way to go but there will mostly be some light (and insight) appearing from the darkness, always when we don't assume there is.

    Lyn
