Never wanted to be
anyone in this world
only wished to have had
a place amidst thee
to happily live
with a smile and a heart
for each other

Then I found that this world
was divided between
the ones that had given away
their hearts and their smiles
on busy ways fighting
each other.

Dividing they know
and cutting apart
generously the heart
taking life and what's good
as self-understood
from the other

When in pieces they lay
they came crawling by
with smiles in the face
demanding merci and grace
and cursed not themselves
but the other

Turn it around as you like
we will not escape
the evidence that
what ever we do
affects me and you
and with what we do
or are missing to do
we always
affect.
