For the joy they give, for rememberance and for love, my lilies as they came last year:
Also this year they have already started off well again.
Lilies create lots of new lilies from their bulbs without any territorial problem. They all grow beautifully and there is soil for the all of them.
Though roses are used as symbols for love, there is an extraordinary difference between lilies and roses.
The rose stands alone, confusing with its fragrance while underneath emitting chemicals which make it impossible for other roses and many other plants to use the same soil the rose occupies. The rose is certainly territorial.
Many people are like those roses - they consider themselves beautiful and that is what they make others, especially who could give them an advantage, believe. At the same time they are poisoning the soil.
When they smile you know it´s fake and you sense that underneath, at the same time, the ground is spoiled for anything else to grow.
I might hope
for that the times
will change
and for the lilies to
happily grow.
